Project 3: Digital Triptych

In project 3, we are to choose a story from one stroy this website:Stories by Edgar Allan Poe, The Tell-Tale Heart, The Black Cat, and more (poestories.com) .and break down the narrative of the chosen story into 3-act structures of Introduction-Climax-Epilogue.We're going to create three 300*600 canvases and then design your imagined designs into your images through interesting twists or episodes in the story, and we can also emphasise these actions. We should create a premise preview for the story to keep the reader interested.

Challenges:
1. Only one story by Edgar Allan Poe from the website provided.
2.Visuals are displayed in a serises of three.
3.The brief is not a spoiler text.

Stroy: "Black Cat" by Edgar Allan Poe
I chose this story because I love small animals and the story was interesting and I thought the black cat in the story was important and I chose to make the black cat a darker line.

Episode:
His Black Cat is a creepy horror story. The story takes place before, the hero loved small animals and got married to the heroine. After the marriage they adopt a black cat and start living happily ever after. However, the hero gradually began to reveal his own shortcomings, he would often get drunk, and in the drunken domestic violence his wife, and even one day, he killed the adopted black cat.
Soon after the black cat died, the hero began to hallucinate that the black cat was back to take revenge on him, so the hero began to design and prepare to kill the black cat again, but this is when the accident happened, he killed his wife, the heroine by mistake ......

3-Act Structures:
Introduction:  The first page takes place after the wedding, with the hostess drinking in the house, in my case alluding to the hero's drunkenness, and the adopted black cat on the carpet.

Climax: Version 1: The hero kills the black cat, and the broken wine glass and fallen chair on the floor hint at everything. The wall is a hallucination of the hero.
Version 2: We jump straight to the scene where the heroine is killed, which will arouse curiosity.

Epilogue:  Version 1: draws an axe, which is the tool used by the hero to accidentally kill the heroine, and there is blood all over the floor.
Version 2: directly depicts the hero being arrested, which would draw attention to the scene.
