REFLECTION

Experience:
This semester was much more stressful than the first semester, testing our exploration of typography and open ended research, this semester had a lot of interesting lessons such as Task 2 of Task 1 where we had to find fonts from images. All of the tasks were very stressful but I am glad that I was able to get advice from Mr. Vinod, which was crucial for me because Mr. Vinod's advice provided me with a lot of inspiration and help with my designs. I still learned a lot this semester and produced a more complete set of fonts, which is a great thing.

Observations:
I have been observing a lot of details. In Project 1, we had to look at different layouts for different typographic systems and the typographic elements that are so prevalent in our lives, and then we had to make eight layouts based on those eight different systems. In Project2 you need to pay attention to the connection between designing the brand logo and the brand theme to produce good typography that will catch the attention of others. In Project 3, it was necessary to create the details of the complete typeface, including the height and width of the letters and the margins between them, as well as the upper and lower case letters and numbers, including the symbols, to maintain a consistent identity.

Findings:
I've realized to life is full of typographic elements and it takes a lot of research and investigation before we can be bold and creative in our designs. The knowledge of typography is not only reflected in our typography work, but we can apply it in many places, whether it is website design or video production, we can incorporate the knowledge of typography. Another thing I've found is that having OCD is not a good thing, there are times when you need to make changes rather than catching on to a letter, this is for the fact that I've been in situations like this where I should have let go of my mind and thought about it rather than stubbornly ignoring the problem.
